A man was saved from one of the explosions during the horrifying Paris Attack, thanks to his Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
According to the report by Daily Mail, the man named Sylvestre has just finished talking to his wife through the phone when a terrorist blew himself near the man, sending pieces of shrapnel flying around the area.
One of the pieces of shrapnel could have hit the man's head and 'explode' it that would eventually kill the man. Fortunately, the shell pieces hit and shattered the man's phone instead.
Sylvestre was injured in the foot and abdomen but was lucky to survive the explosion which is just the first of the three explosions that happened in Stade de France where a friendly football game between the France and Germany National team is taking place.
As mentioned in the Daily Mail report, a suicide Bomber exploded while entering the Gate J of the stadium while another blast was heard which reportedly came near a McDonald's near the stadium.
The explosions in the stadium left six people dead while some fans were evacuated and some gathering in the Football field. France President Francois Hollande, who was watching the game with the German Interior Minister, was also evacuated after the series of bombings.
Three of the terrorists were reported dead from the stadium attack.
The explosion that happened in Stade de France is just one of the six coordinated Terrorist attacks in Paris. The locations of the other Paris attacks include the Le Carillon bar located at 18 rue Alibert, 10th district, the Le Petit Cambodge restaurant located at 20 rue Alibert, 10th district, the La Belle Equipe located at 92 rue de Charonne, 11th district, the La Casa Nostra restaurant situated at rue de la Fontaine au roi in the 11th district and in the Bataclan Theatre.
An updated report by BBC has confirmed that the series of attacks killed at least 128 people along with 180 people injured.
President Hollande declared a state of emergency, tightened border controls, and mobilized the military amid the attacks.
New York Times reported that the Islamic State has already "claimed responsibility" over the attacks and warned that the Paris Attack is just "the first of the storm."
The report also cited a statement from the group's supporters which says that France remains in the top of the list of targets of the Islamic State.
