A user on Reddit described the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" trailer that is set for release during premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Dec. 18, 2015. The user said he was able to attend a private Q&A with the Russo Brothers and at the end of the session was a screening of the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer.
The said trailer opens with a scene in an African market. The first character that is shown is Falcon and next will be Black Widow. The trailer will then show Crossbones and finally Captain America. The two will engage into a hand to hand brawl. Falcon joins in later.
Based on his description it can be said that the much awaited trailer offers snippets of each of the superheroes in mini-confrontation scenes -- Black Panther versus Captain America; Tony Stark telling Cap: "I want to punch you in your perfect teeth."
Interestingly there are Ant-Man post credits scenes in the trailer, he said. Other interesting point of the description is that Bucky had already regained his memory and is ready to fight Cap. Scott Lang is introduced by Sam Wilson as a "new recruit."
At the end of the trailer, the superheroes form two lines -- the team Cap and team Ironman -- ready to attack at each other. Towards the end, Hawkeye pins Black Widow to the ground and asks "Are we still friends?" She responds, "Depends on how hard you hit me." The trailer then cut to the title: CIVIL WAR!
The description posted on Reddit however is very much the same with the trailer presented during Disney's D23 Expo held in August. The video can be found below.
"Captain America: Civil War" is set for release in the U.S. on May 6, 2016, according to an official announcement from Marvel Studios. Anthony and Joe Russo are the directors for the "Captain America: Civil War." Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely penned the script.
Chris Evans is Captain America/Steve Rogers. Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark/Iron Man. Scarlett Johansson is Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Sebastian Stan is Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. Anthony Mackie is Sam Wilson/Falcon. Paul Bettany is The Vision. Jeremy Renner is Clint Barton/Hawkeye. Don Cheadle is Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
Paul Rudd will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-man. The film also includes outstanding additional cast, including Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones and William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.
