Gisele Bundchen’s Book Worth $700 a Copy Sold Out Before Release

Despite its $700 price tag, Gisele Bundchen's book had already sold out even before its actual release.

According to a report from People magazine, Bundchen's 536-page Collector's Edition coffee table book sold out before it even hits the bookstores.

"The book sold out before it even was released. Gisele was shocked and so was the publisher. Everybody thought, given the price point, that it would be a different scenario! They were getting ready to promote it for holiday," a source said.

Bundchen's book which is published by Taschen Books will have the model's famous Irving Penn nude portrait on the cover. The book will feature the start of Bundchen's career when she was just 14 and will be illustrated with more than 300 photographs.

According to the publishing house, the book will also include tributes for the supermodel by family members, friends and famous fashion personalities. The 1,000 copies of Bunchen's book will be signed by the Brazilian model as well.

In her Instagram account, Bundchen made a teaser video for her book. Fox News Latino reported that the model is very excited about the release of her book and she is grateful to the industry that has served her success since she started.

"Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business. I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey," the model captioned.

While still in the height of her fame, the 34-year-old mode. decided to retire from the runaway at the Sao Paulo Fashion Week. The model now keeps herself busy by spending more time with her family and doing some philanthropic works.

The model constantly uses her social media to update her fans about what keeps her busy. Based on her feed, Bundchen's life seemed more relaxed and laid-back despite being involved in a couple of rumors.

A couple of months ago, Bunchen's marriage to quarterback star Tom Brady was the topic of gossip. There were reports that claimed that the two are headed for divorce after being married for six years. The model kept quiet about the issue but Brady previously spoke about his wife, sang praises for her and guaranteed that they are both doing good.
