Justin Bieber Talks About Selena Gomez: 'I'm Never Going to Stop Loving Her'

While promoting his latest album "Purpose", Justin Bieber brushed on the topic about his "first real love" and dished out on what he really feels for Selena Gomez.

In a report by Access Hollywood, Justin Bieber finally talked about his feeling for Selena Gomez more thoroughly. When asked how many of his songs in his newest album are inspired by his ex-girlfriend, Bieber said that there were "a lot."

In total, Bieber said that three of the songs from the album were inspired by Gomez, who he refers to as his "first real love." However, apart from revealing that Gomez was the muse in some of his songs, Bieber also said that he still loves the "Good For You" singer.

"It was really tough. I don't know if I'm over it yet. I think that I'm definitely in another place and I think we've definitely went our separate ways. I love her and I want her to be awesome, but there are things that remind me of her," Bieber confessed.

It was also revealed that Bieber wrote a song that suggests that they may have met in the wrong time, stated by a report from Ryan Seacrest's website. The singer further explained by saying that a lot of people would be able to relate to meeting a special person but the timing is just off.

"I wrote a song [that] didn't make the album. It was called 'If I Would Have Met You In 5 Years," Bieber said. "How many people go through life and end up meeting someone and it feels so right, but it's just the wrong time? So many people can relate to that."

Bieber and Gomez began dating in 2010 and had a very public relationship. Despite being on and off a few times, the two always seemed in love. The Canadian popstar even admitted that even though they have called it quits, he still cares about Gomez.

"[She] is someone I love dearly. I'm never going to stop loving her. I'm never going to stop checking in on her," he explained. "I don't think if you end a relationship, you should end that, unless it was super toxic and you guys were hurting each other physically or mentally. We always respected each other and we still respect each other."

With his bold statements, does this mean that there's a chance that the two will get back in each other's arms? Bieber said that he's not sure about the future and that they need to do some soul searching to figure things out before jumping in a relationship again.

Although the two are not together anymore, Jelena fans are surely jumping for joy with what Bieber just revealed.
