Fan Throws Cellphone at Ariana Grande During iHeartRadio Show: How Did She Respond to It?

Ariana Grande kept her cool when a fan threw a cellphone on stage while she was performing during her iHeartRadio Show.

In a report by Refinery 29, Ariana Grande carried on with her performance last week even though a fan threw a cellphone onstage in the middle of her performance. The singer was performing her new single "Focus" for the first time when the incident happened. During the Q&A, things got a little interesting when she brought up the topic.

"Did someone throw a phone at me?" Grande asked. "Did someone just throw a phone on stage? That's so dangerous. What if your screen cracked?"

After the phone was found, the "One Last Time singer" picked up the device and gave it back to the owner, US magazine reported.

"Whose is this? Is this yours? Be careful. Take your phone back," the singer said.

The 22-year-old was able to keep her composure when in fact other people would have gotten mad if the same thing happened to them. Perhaps Grande didn't want another controversy like the one she dealt with a couple of months ago. The singer had to publicly apologize for the doughnut incident and her offensive remarks about Americans.

Grande had to make a public apology video, in which she admitted that her behaviour was offensive and there was no excuse for what she did. She noted that as human beings, people say or do things that in the end, they might regret. She also added that she has grown from that mistake and that disappointing those who admire her was an "excruciating feeling."

Apart from the incident which she handled very well, Grande surprised everyone when she recently talked about her friendship with Katy Perry. Could this mean a possible rift with "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift who reportedly has a feud with the "Roar" singer?

Grande revealed how Perry was supportive of her when she had a concert at the Staples Center. She recalled the time when she went to Perry's show a couple of years ago and how she was inspired by it, Music Times reported.

"I went to (Perry's) show at The Staples Center a couple years ago and I was totally inspired by it and was like 'Wow, I wanna do this one day,'" Grande said. "And then just three years later, I had my own show there, and she came, and she held my hand in the prayer circle and ... she was like 'Girl, you were here a few years ago watching me and now I'm here watching you. You better kill it, girl.' So she's always been really supportive."

Grande is currently busy promoting her latest single "Focus", and she is also reported to appear in the "Zoolander 2" movie.
