Northern California is bracing for a third big storm after braving four days of heavy rains, dangerous flash floods and loss of electricity. The third storm, which moved in Saturday evening, is expected to flood several rivers, CBS News reported.

According to the Associated Press, the National Weather Service issued flood warnings for the Napa and Russian rivers early Saturday. Both rivers, which are located north of San Francisco, have a history of flooding, NWS hydrologist Mark Strudley told the AP.

Strudley said that Napa River is expected to flood near St. Helena and Napa near noon on Sunday, while Russian River is expected to flood early Monday morning near Guerneville. "Some roads will become inundated and some of the agricultural areas will take on some water," Strudley added.

The AP also reported that flood warnings have been issued for the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe, Susan River in Lassen County and the Eel, Navarro and Van Duzen rivers in Northern California. Forecasters issued a flash flood watch for a large portion of Northern California through Sunday.

CBS News reported that a high surf advisory was issued, with swells expected to be between 14 to 16 feet along the Northern California coast. High surf was also expected in Southern California, in the Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

The storms have brought incredible amounts of rainfall and snowfall, Weather.com reported. Peak rainfall along the West Coast was experienced in Brandy Creek, Calif. (12.60"), Wynoochee Lake, Wash. (9.03") and O'Brien, Ore. (8.77"). Peak snowfall was seen in California, Idaho and Nevada at Mammoth Lakes, Calif. (26"), Ketchem, Idaho (25.4") and Mt. Rose, Nev. (23").

By Friday, thousands of residents were reportedly without power but by Saturday Pacific Gas & Electric stated that only a few scattered outages remained. The new storm is expected to affect power, Pacific Gas & Electric spokesman J.D. Guidi told the AP.
