"Heroes Reborn," NBC's follow up to their hit TV series "Heroes", has revealed that one of the original heroes, Hiro Nakamura, will make a short return to the story.

In a trailer released by NBC, Hiro will make his return in episode 6 of the series named "Game Over." From what viewers see in the trailer, Hiro has taken more of his future Hiro persona over the time jump, and instead of one Japanese Katana, it looks like Hiro is now wielding dual blades.

However, according to Comic Book Resources, the return of the character is going to be unfortunately shortlived as Masi Oka, the actor who plays Hiro, has confirmed that he will only be appearing in three episodes of the follow up series. Also notable that while seen in the first trailer of "Heroes Reborn," there has been no word yet on what has happened to Ando, Hiro's bestfriend and travel partner from Japan.

So what will the other characters in the series be doing in episode 6? Noah will be reportedly taking things into his own hands as he continues to look for answers, while Tommy and Emily will go on an unexpected journey but only after Tommy makes a surprise discovery. The villain of the story thus far, Zachary Levi, will start to come to terms with what he has been doing and who he is hunting.

As far as the first few episodes that have already aired for "Heroes Reborn", the reviews have been mixed. There are some viewers who are happy to see that there is a new story with new powered characters to follow and a dash of some of the older characters as well.

However, the biggest criticism that the show has encountered is that there may be too many point of view characters to follow, and with all that is going on all the time, it is sometimes difficult to follow all the plot lines.

On Metacritic, the show holds a 53 percent. While not awful, the show could get better scores. There are a few things that viewers do agree upon, however. One of them is that the camera work on "Heroes Reborn" is masterful. Second, many do credit Jack Coleman, who plays Noah Benneet, for keeping the show together with his powerful acting.

"Heroes Reborn" is shown on NBC at 8 pm on Thursdays.
