When there are aliens, there should be that ultimate weapon to wipe them out. So much so that if there is "Alien 5" there should be the M41A. Director Neil Blomkamp will not disappoint the fans of the "Aliens" fans. On Oct. 15, Blomkamp took to Instagram to reveal the new pulse rifle for the upcoming movie.

The famous rifle was first introduced by Michael Biehn as Cpl Dwayne Hicks in "Aliens" back in 1986. "I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine. This is an M414 Pulse Rifle. Ten millimeter, with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher," Biehn said in the movie.

Now the new rifle for "Alien 5" comes with an added feature. It has a Rail Interface System or RIS. This component makes it possible for the rifle user to attach added accessories like laser and telescopes.

The untitled "Alien 5" does not yet have a release date but according to IGN, the film is slated to begin production sometime in 2017. Sigourney Weaver will reprise her role as Ellen Ripley and Biehn as Cpl Hicks. The two will still be fighting the terrifying Xenomorph. Aside from these details, everything from plot and other casting for "Aliens 5" are being kept tight under wraps.

The last time Blomkamp spoke about "Alien 5" is in March with the Empire magazine. At the time the director said that the new Alien movie will not "tread on the toes" of Ridley Scott's upcoming "Prometheus 2." The director also revealed that the film, popularly called and mostly referred to as the "Alien 5"will not be titled that way.

"I sent the title I want to Ridely. It's kinda quite bold, but it gives away too much if I say the title. But in the event that it doesn't work, I'm dead in the water..." the director sort of teased.

As much as the "Alien 5" will not tread on the toes of "Prometheus 2," it also will not be related to "Aliens 3" or "Alien: Resurrection." In an interview with Sky News in February, Blomkamp said that he wants "Alien 5" to feel like it is literally the genetic siblings of Aliens.

"So it's Alien, Aliens, and then this movie. I would love to take Ripley out of orbiting around in space, and give a proper finish to her story," Blomkamp said, adding that the latter was not achieved in "Aliens 3" nor "Alien: Resurrection."

We all knew there would be pulse rifles. Obviously. Now with added RIS
