Saturday night's MLS final is not only the culmination to a season, but possibly also to a legendary career.

Celebrity icon and soccer star David Beckham will play his final match for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday when the team takes on Houston Dynamo for MLS glory. If he wins tonight, Beckham will win his second MLS Cup during his five year stint with the team.

If he wins, he will also win his third championship on the last game with his club team. In 2003, he won the Premier League championship with Manchester United and in 2007 he won the Spanish League Championship with Real Madrid; both times he played his last game with for the team in those respective runs.

No one knows if the 37 year old player will retire for good from the game as some rumors have linked him with AS Monaco of the second division French League.

However, Beckham, who made $255 million in his time in the MLS, has stated his desire to help the league continue growing.

"When I came over here, I committed to this team and I committed to growing this league," Beckham said. "Just because I'm not playing here after the weekend, my commitment stays the same. I will do anything to keep these players coming over like Robbie Keane, like Thierry Henry. Anything I can do on that side of things, I want to do."
