The Denver Broncos continue to keep their clean slate but apparently quarterback Peyton Manning is not part of the success.
The 39-year-old quarterback has had an awful season and his struggles continue. Such was apparent in the Broncos win over the Oakland Raider recently, probably one of the worst Manning has played in since perhaps his rookie year in 1998.
Regardless of Manning’s struggles, the Broncos have weathered the handicap magnificently but there are some who beg to ask the question: Should the Broncos bench Manning in favor of Brock Osweiler?
The question was thrown at head coach Gary Kubiak recently and apparently he has made it clear that he will be sticking it out with Manning despite the criticism that the NFL legend has been garnering lately.
Gary Kubiak asked if it is time to play Brock Osweiler. "No. Peyton is doing just fine."

The move of Kubiak can be easily justified and something that comes along the phrase of why fix something that ain’t broke? Manning may be struggling but the fact is that his individual shortfalls are overshadowed by the fact that the Broncos are sitting pretty atop the AFC West.
Football legend Joe Montana agrees with Kubiak on the matter and explains why Manning should not be benched via NFL.com.
"He's struggling a little bit," Montana told Around The NFL's Andrew Siciliano. "I think that sometimes when you get to the point where he is in his career, you try to make a lot of things happen and you don't do things the way you used to do them.
"He's still a great quarterback. Is it coming down to that time? I don't know."
Indeed, Manning may be trying too much for the team at the moment. But if he is, he may want to rethink and cool his heels a bit.
Against the Raiders, he completed 22 of 35 passes for 266 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. His turnovers could have cost the Broncos the match but the thing here is that Denver was expected to dominate Oakland.
For the season, Manning is having one of bad ones in his career. While he has completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 1,234 yards with six touchdowns, the glaring stat comes in the seven interceptions he has had so far.
The interceptions stand out because in 2013, he only had 10 for the season. At the rate he is going, he is expected to break the 15 he had last year.
Still and all, Manning is a legend and someone who can pull his act back together at any time. Apparently this is what Kubiak is waiting on but as long as the Broncos are winning, the status of Manning is technically a non-issue as a whole for the Broncos for now.
