2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: The Weeknd, Rihanna, Selena Gomez to Perform

It looks like "The Sexiest Runway On the Planet" will be outdoing itself in this year's fashion show.

According to official media partner CBS, musical artists The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, and Rihanna will be gracing the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway succeeding last year's talents, Blank Space singer Taylor Swift, Love Me Harder songster Ariana Grande, Thinking Out Loud singer Ed Sheeran, and Take Me To Church's soloist, Hozier. Following the brand's tradition of "sexy," Gomez and Rihanna will no doubt be similarly styled with the "Victoria's Secret Angels" which most famous faces of the VS brand Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. They will be joined by the new "Angels" Elsa Hosk, Jac Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill and Rachel Hilbert, a Victoria's Secret PINK model, as per MIC.

CBS lauds this year's performers in a report with Rihanna being "the most watched artist" on Vevo/YouTube, and Gomez having just released her newest album "Revival," including one of her sexiest singles ever, "Good For You." The only thorn in the line-up is Grammy nominee and "Beauty Behind the Madness" artist, The Weeknd. His album is chart-topping having clinched the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 chart for the longest run this year, as per CBS.

The 2015 VS Fashion Show will feature interviews with the Victoria's Secret Angels, behind-the-scenes footage, and the most awaited multi-million dollar Fantasy Bra.

Forbes reveals in a report last September that a whopping 16 of the 21 models in the 2015 ranking of World's Highest-Paid Models "have modeled or currently model for Victoria's Secret. "

The brand has been known to showcase numerous models in its annual show and it is widely known that only few are asked to stay for the upcoming years. The current VS "veterans" include "highest-paid models" Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel as well as new blood Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt. Victoria's Secret chief marketing officer Ed Razek revealed in a phone interview with Forbes how the beauties land a contract with their brand: "The answer will surprise you-it's how women respond to them," he notes. "We're interested in appealing to women because women do 99% of the shopping in Victoria's Secret," he added.

The 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be held in New York City and will air on CBS Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. ET, as per CBS.
