According to the rumor mill, Brooklyn Beckham is head over heels with Selena Gomez, and the singer might be the reason for his split from young actress Chloe Grace Moretz.
In a report by MTV UK, the 16-year-old Beck is "smitten" with Selena Gomez, although he was dating Chloe Grace Moretz. However, the article added that even though Brooklyn was into the "Good For You" singer and was trying to go on a date with her, Selena was still hooked on Justin Bieber.
Selena and Brooklyn have been spotted together in New York Fashion week but both insisted that they are just friends. Sources claim that Selena thinks that Brooklyn is sweet but he is just too young for her taste.
"She says Brooklyn's sweet and all, but he's just too young for her. In a few years' time, that could change, but for now she only sees him as a friend - and it's breaking his heart!"
An insider added that Brooklyn being so "smitten" with Selena was one of the reasons why Chloe and Brooklyn broke up.
However, Selena is not looking for a relationship at the moment but admitted that she has gone on several dates. In a previous interview she did with Radio Disney, the 23-year-old revealed the quality that she looks for in a future boyfriend.
"Honesty, of course, trust, being faithful, making me laugh, those are all the dream qualities, right? It will happen. I don't want to force anything. Just somebody you can enjoy living life with," Selena Gomez said.
She also spoke about Zedd and talked about how much she adored the German DJ and her respect for him as an EDM artist.
"I respect his vision because he has a way of knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist, and he doesn't spend most of his time travelling the word DJing. He really spent so much time on this record. He wanted everything, from the lyrical content, to who sang it, and how they sang it. He's great and very talented," Gomez said.
For the meantime, the singer is focused on her music and career. Selena has done so much in searching for something different. She has moved out of her parent's house, got herself a new management team, and signed to a new record label that will release her new album "Revival" this week. The release of her singles "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and "Good For You" have both received positive reviews.
