The social app Snapchat is known allowing its users to share scandalous videos and pictures to their followers. The best part is the evidence only lasts for 24 hours on a device. But what happens when a woman's snaps reveals she may have been with her assailant just hours before she wound up dead?

Stephanie Hernandez, a mother of two, was found with a gunshot wound to the head in her new Little Rock, Arkansas home. The house was found "ransacked, with blood all over the floor," according to the local news station KATV.

"The place is ransacked. There is blood all over the floor. It's clothes everywhere. Like someone wanted to just pack up and get out," said Stephanie's friend, Jaquinlan Davis. "I really can't believe it is true! I was just here with her yesterday! I hadn't seen her in about 2 months. At least 2 months."

The 21-year old had just moved to the new house with her boyfriend, 20-year old Rafael Gonzalez.

Snapchat stories in addition to photos from Twitter and social media revealed Hernandez and Gonzalez spent time together in their new home with Gonzalez's gun. Photos were snapped with a gun, ammunition, and even Gonzales holding a gun to the young mother's head.

Gonzalez has since been arrested and being held without bond. However the police told KATV pictures are only one piece of the puzzle. They still follow protocol when looking for the person behind this tragic event.

Gonzalez and Hernandez were said to have an unsteady relationship. Davis told the Channel 7 News, "I knew his history and everything, and I knew he was a bad influence. I wanted to tell her. I wanted her to come with me actually when I left."

Davis also said he saw Hernandez earlier that day and she had made a strange purchase for her boyfriend. "She bought him a pack of four or five bullet shells, and just by that, I didn't feel right."

Hernandez leaves behind her two daughters, age 3-year old and 8-months. "My nieces have been crying all night. It's just real hard," Startz said. "I haven't told my 3-year-old niece anything yet. She knows something is wrong because she wants her mom."

Hernandez's family is hoping for justice.
