The once-amicable relationship between Fox News and Donald Trump took another wry turn Monday night when the Republican presidential front-runner took a jab at the "O'Reilly Factor's" eponymous host.
"@oreillyfactor was very negative to me in refusing to post the great polls that came out today including NBC. @FoxNews not good for me!," Trump wrote in one Tweet, less than an hour after phoning in to host Greta Van Susteren's show. Another read "@oreillyfactor, why don't you have some knowledgeable talking heads on your show for a change instead of the same old Trump haters. Boring!"

Trump went on to say he is "having a really hard time" watching Fox News, the network which he publicly decried after host Megyn Kelly challenged him during the GOP's first primary presidential debate. Like his feud with Kelly, Trump re-tweeted numerous posts supporting his anti-Fox News stance.
O'Reilly, for his part, chalked Trump's tirade up to his need to entertain.
"That's like the worst thing you can give Donald Trump is this tweeting thing," O'Reilly said on Tuesday's edition of NBC's "Today" show. "I just think this is an extension of his reality show, 'The Apprentice.' This is just theater right now. He gets a lot of attention from the theater."
