The six piece Indie/folk band from Iceland Of Monsters And Men will appear in a cameo on "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Two of the band's members where snapped outside the Sant Pere de Galligants in Girona, Spain where the team has just wrapped up filming.
The photos showing Of Monsters And Men members were featured on Watchers on The Wall citing the Twitter user Toni Millan. One of the photos showed lead singer and guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, drinking bottled water in between takes. The other photo showed singer-guitarist Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson in their costumes while they were sitting outside the tower, probably relaxing while waiting for their turn.
Watchers on The Wall noted that GOT is fond of having its favorite bands in the series. Among cameos in the past seasons were those of Sigur Ros, Mastodon, Will Champion of Coldplay and Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol.
A related report from the Watchers On The Wall said that GOT had finished its production in Girona on September 17. The report comes with compilation of videos and photos of some of the scenes and casts snapped while filming is ongoing.
In one video posted by Chantal Gallena, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Roger Ashton-Griffiths are seen in the middle of a scene. Jaime Lannister and Mace Tyrell are also seen in the video while horseback riding. In another video, also posted by Gallena, Tyrell soldiers are seen marching through the streets.
Changes to the costume designs among King's Landing extras were particularly noted in photos tweeted by Els Bastards. Watchers On The Wall noted that a new costume designer, April Ferry, has come on board to replace Michele Clapton.
Meanwhile, GOT fans were shocked with reports emerging the past week saying that Kit Harrington may have spilled the biggest spoiler involving his character Jon Snow. According to a report from the Huffington Post, Harrington told the Belgian magazine, Humo, that he is still contractually bounded to GOT.
"I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to 'Game of Thrones.' So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it almost completely consumes me," Harrington was quoted as saying.
"The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract," Harrington said. Prodded to tell more of his contract with GOT, Harrington said: "Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while; I'll probably be in my 30s when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on 'Thrones' is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
