Gisele Bundchen went topless in Vogue Paris' special four edition covers put together in celebration of the magazine's 95th anniversary. She is photographed by famed artist Mario Testino.
According to Emmanuelle Alt, Vogue Paris editor-in-chief, the special edition covers mark the magazine's 95 years of style.
"Vogue Paris is 95 years old, but the Vogue legend shows no sign of dimming. To mark this huge milestone, we invited some of the magazine's most emblematic collaborators back into the studio," she wrote in her editorial for the anniversary issue. She added that the issue will be available on newsstands Sept. 29.
Kate Moss, Christy Turlington and Kendall Jenner are the three other models completing Vogue Paris' four limited edition collector's covers. Moss is photographed by Mert & Marcus; Turlington by Inez & Vinoodh; and Jenner by David Sims.
In other news, Bundchen has again topped Forbes' list of The World's Highest-Paid Models 2015. She was also number one in the list in 2014.
According to Forbes, the Brazilian model is amassing money nearly five times more than her New England Patriots' quarterback husband Tom Brady. Forbes also noted that Bundchen has been making more money than any other model since 2002. According to the magazine, Bundchen, despite announcing her retirement in April, continues to be tapped as endorser for high-class brands in the likes of Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Under Armour. Bundchen is also getting a cut of sales from the jelly sandals she personally designs for Brazilian shoemaker Grendene. Her line of Hope Lingerie is also a hit, adding to her take-home pay.
Forbes noted that despite retiring from the runway, Bundchen's earnings have not been greatly affected. In April, Bundchen made her last runway walk. According to a report from USA Today, her appearance at Sao Paulo Fashion Week concluded her career of 20 years.
"I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business," Bundchen posted on Instagram at that time.
She also explained the reason behind her choice to retire. "Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop," she was quoted as saying by USA Today, citing a print edition of a Brazilian newspaper.
