This weather man loves Madonna and was so overjoyed she was bringing her "Rebel Hearts" to the nation's capitol, he had to show the world. Mike Thomas of FOX 5 D.C. vogued his way through his entire forecast juxtaposed with a number of Madonna references. The obvious Madonna fan could not contain his excitement over the pop icon coming to town, so he expressed his joy in the best way possible. He also wanted to make sure D.C. residents knew what type of weather they would be looking forward to ahead of Madonna's concert being held at Verizon Center on Saturday.
He opens by exclaiming, "Yes Madge, the queen of pop herself is coming to town this Saturday night, so for all you rebel hearts out there, here is your personalized forecast for concert time."
"Hey, don't just stand there, let's get to it, strike a pose, there's nothing to it, vogue!" he sings accompanied by corresponding hand gestures.
"Well life is a mystery and everyone must stand alone, and I will stand alone as I predict, yes we have seen the last of the 90s [degrees] for the year here, in Washington so cherish this cooler air, movin on in from the north and west.
"And it is here to stay for a little while, yes that's right, we are going to make the good times last because all that little humidity is finally out of here as well."
He then moves on to let viewers know unfortunately there would be some rain moving in just in time for the concert.
"Yes, rain, feel it on my fingertips and hear it on my window pane," he continued. "Now you're thinking, papa, don't preach, we're in trouble deep, but fear not there is a ray of light."
"Some parts of the region will be touched for the very first time by rain this month on Saturday, so grab that umbrella as you head down to the concert."
Thomas told Mashable it took him 4 hours to memorize his forecast and then 15 takes to nail it! The video has since gone viral after it was launched on Friday. It ha been viewed over 78,000 times on FOX 5 D.C.'s YouTube page while it has been re-recorded and posted under other user accounts wracking up a few hundred views on each of those postings.
This is not his first time exclaiming his love for a pop sensation. He was also the weatherman behind the ode-to-Taylor Swift forecast.
