Two months after the donut-licking incident and the "I hate America" comment she made, Ariana Grande felt the need to apologize once again.
During her guesting on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, the "Break Free" singer opened up once again about the donut-licking incident that took place at a shop in California that was captured on security footage. The petite singer was in the shop with a couple of friends, one being her rumored boyfriend, when she licked one of the donuts on display while the storekeeper was away. Apart from the donuts, she was also heard making comments about how she hates America.
Ariana issued a public apology right away when the video and the news broke. However, damage has been done and some shook their heads at the singer's bad behavior. After two months, she didn't feel like it was enough so she apologized once again and explained everything she learned from the incident.
In a report by MSN, the 22-year-old singer admitted that what she had done was unacceptable, and admitted that her behavior during the incident was offessive.
"First of all, my behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There's no excuse, or there's nothing to justify it. But I think as human beings, we all say and do things that we don't mean at all sometimes," Ari said.
Grande also mentioned that although she made a mistake, it was also an opportunity to learn and grow as a person. One of the lessons that she took from the controvesy was the "excruciating feeling" of disappointing people who love her and believe in her.
"You have to remember your words. Your actions have ramifications, and you have to really think about what you're about to say and do because they are important. They are important to so many people," Ariana added.
Moving on from the issue and straight to what's the latest about her career, Ariana announced during her guesting with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" that she will be releasing a new single.
Hollywood Life reported that Ariana's new single "Focus" will be out on October 30. Just to add a bit more fun, later in the show, Fallon and Grande played the "Musical Impressions" game. The young singer was able to impersonate the voices of Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Celine Dion.
