The Star Wars Universe, while it never really went away, has seen another resurgence with the hype behind the new films.

One such reason why the "Star Wars" franchise has seen so much success is because of its iconic music. While entirely instrumental, composer John Williams has composed and recorded some of the most popular songs ever. From the entrance of Darth Vader with the "Imperial March" to the "Duel of Fates" and the "Star Wars Theme," the songs are forever attached to the franchise.

John Williams is again in charge of the music behind "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens", so expect some old favorites as well as several new themes for the new characters that will be introduced. IGN reports that the soundtrack for the new movie will mirror the movie's release of December 18, 2015.

Fans should also be excited to know that a new canon, stories that are officially part of the Star Wars continuity, will soon be available for mobile download. According to Game Informer, the new game will be called "Star Wars Uprising" and will follow the events that happen after "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" and "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens."

This new piece of canon is pretty much gold for Star Wars fans as previously, Lucas Films has declared that all previous expanded Star Wars Universe stories (any story outside the movies) as non-canon even if they were considered canon before. This means that "Uprising" and the "Star Wars: Rebels" cartoon shows are the only two expanded universe stories that are currently considered canon.

The story of "Uprising" brings players to the star system of Antoat, famous for the Cloud City of Bispin and the ice planet of Hoth, soon after the events that have led to the Emperor's death. The regional Imperial Governor Adelhard has locked down the entire system, trapping the people inside. Trade has been strictly monitored, and the rebels have already retreated from the system after their defeat at Hoth.

Players will have several options for character classes, which include: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Rebel Guerilla, Diplomat, Gambler or "something truly unique." The game does not mention anything about being able to pick a Jedi class because at this moment, the only known Jedi left is Luke Skywalker. Players will have to navigate the system in hopes of liberating it from the Empire.

Beta versions of "Star Wars: Uprising" is set to be released in September 2015.
