Is Nick Jonas' New Song About Selena Gomez? Details Here!

According to rumors, Nick Jonas' new song is about ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. 

Jonas teased his fans with an unfinished track over the weekend and it appears that his latest single might be about his ex-girlfriend Gomez. Fans of the ex-couple are going crazy and thinking that Jonas' "Area Code" might be a direct hit on Gomez. 

Mirror UK reported that the unfinished track was posted on SoundCloud with a caption that said, "mood." 

The 22-year-old recently split from his beauty queen girlfriend Olivia Culpo. However, the two have kept silent with regard the reason of their breakup. 

After fans listened to the track, they can't help but make a connection of Jonas' new song to Gomez's "Good For You" single. So is it about Gomez? It's never confirmed unless Jonas says it himself but it is safe to say that the two still get on with each other. They were spotted in July having dinner with a bunch of friends as well as the Republic Records after party. 

"We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other," Jonas said when asked about their July catch up. "I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. It was a big group of people and we all hung out and had a good time. We connect in that sense."

When he was asked if he wants to reconnect with Gomez, Jonas said that it was nice to be able to connect and wants to leave things there. Right now, the singer is busy working on his music especially since he acquired a record label with Demi Lovato. The two, including Demi's manager, launched SafeHouse Records. 

Meanwhile, Gomez is also focusing more on her music after launching her latest single "Good For You." Latin Post also reported that the singer recently spoke about overcoming her low self-esteem. Gomez took the admission to Twitter and shared that she was once insecure about her voice. 

"I was always insecure about my speaking voice because it's so low. I never felt like it was feminine-sounding. I didn't know it would be such an asset to who I am now, though. It adds a cool, personal quality. It's exciting," Gomez said. 

The "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was spotted at the recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards where her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, performed. However, Gomez, Taylor Swift and the rest of the "girl squad" were missing in the front row seat when the "What Do You Mean" singer performed.
