It is no secret Rihanna is a boss when it comes to her finances (BBHMM), killer ensembles, and music. So it comes as no surprise the "B*tch Betta Have My Money" singer is making sure her men are in order too. Rihanna has reportedly demanded her current "rumored" beau leave his ex to the wayside and cut all communication off.
According to OK! Magazine, Lewis Hamilton was still receiving a flurry of texts from has former gal, Nicole Scherzinger, and RiRi was not having it. "Nicole was constantly texting Lewis and it annoyed Rihanna. So she told him that if he doesn't cut contact, it's over," a source said.
The former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls dated the Formula One race car driver for seven years before calling it quits. No doubt, that would definitely be a hard act to follow.
''Rihanna's worried that a spark may still linger. She wants to ensure she's the woman in Lewis' life," revealed the insider to InTouch Magazine via OK!
The publication points out Rihanna is coming down on his previous relationship pretty hard, although she is reluctant to make theirs official.
"She's told him this is a no-strings thing, just like her other recent hookups," the insider said, "but Lewis says he has no issue with that whatsoever, he's walking on air right now and content to do things entirely on her terms."
During this time Rihanna has been rumored to be dating soccer player Karim Benzema and her ex Chris Brown. However, if any of these guys want a fighting chance with bad gal RiRi, they have to get in line, remember that Rihanna is Rihanna, and know what Rihanna says goes.
Times Live reports Rihanna's "second mum" who used to take care of her, including babysitting the 27-year-old singer and driving her to school, is all for the new relationship. Sharon Bellamy Thompson has said she approves of Hamilton. "They would have beautiful babies. As long as this man makes her happy, he's got my approval. You've got to love his British charm," Thompson said. ''I saw her at the carnival [in Barbados] and Lewis is so handsome."
Well if mama approves, that is a good sign. Maybe Hamilton should play his cards right for now.
