Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs Wedding Put on Hold? [Rumors]

Is this a classic case of cold feet?

A source recently revealed to NZ Herald that celebrity couple Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs' wedding is "off the agenda."

Rumours of their engagement started when they showed up last May to the Met Gala, with FKA Twigs spotted sporting a sparkling diamond ring on her engagement finger. The 29-year-old "Twilight" actor and the "Two Weeks" singer reportedly got engaged in March after six months of dating.

While there had been earlier news of postponement, a recent report by The Daily Mail said the couple's much-talked-about wedding allegedly isn't happening and that the couple "have barely spoken" in recent weeks.

NZ Herald's report alleges that they've drifted apart while Pattinson is filming "The Lost City of Z" in Northern Ireland, but they are still doing their best to mend their relationship. "They've definitely drifted and have barely spoken while he's in Belfast and she's been in the States," a source told NZ Herald.

Currently, FKA Twigs is staying at Pattinson's home in Los Angeles while he is away. The insider also adds that the "Rover" actor "isn't comfortable" around many of the people on "Team twigs."

The source told PEOPLE, as per NZ Herald, "Rob has never been at ease with twigs' entourage."

On an optimistic note, previous reports of the temporary cancellation of the couple's marriage said that they had pushed back their wedding "because they couldn't decide what kind of celebration to have."

"She talks about keeping it real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair. She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball," the insider divulged.

The source also contested the rumours surrounding the end of the pair's relationship, saying, "[Their] wedding is off the agenda, [but] they haven't called off the engagement."

Furthermore, wedding plans are said to be developing. "It will now be bigger but how big, nobody's quite sure at this moment in time. There's no fixed [wedding] date but will probably be late in the year," the source said.

The couple's "pal" also told E! Online specifics on the tying of the knot: "There most likely won't be a wedding this year, but that has been the expectation for months." The friend added, "There isn't a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married."

On Aug. 30, FKA Twigs flew solo during the MTV Video Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Pattinson is set to fly to Colombia next month to film scenes for his new movie. In addition, he has two movies in pre-production: "Good Time" and "The Trap."
