Fans have been clamoring for the first glimpse of "Captain Amercia: Civil War," and somehow, this appeal has been answered with recently leaked footage from the movie.
Although both the video and sound quality are well below anyone's standard, the footage, according to Ask Men, revealed some interesting scenes, which made fans more excited for the release of the movie's first trailer.
In the short clip, the battle of Captain America against Crossbones was highlighted, while a quick snap of Black Panther was also provided. Other known heroes from the "Avengers" franchise also made quick appearances, including Iron Man, Hawk Eye, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch.
According to Yibada, the video, which is a collage of various scenes, swiftly went viral, with many blogging sites speculating that an official trailer is already in the works and will soon be released, given the footage seemed to be part of a trailer.
However, the report added that it might still be long before Disney gives the fans what they have been wishing for. The company is still occupied with its upcoming "Star Wars" movie, which is expected to be another blockbuster.
As reported by Grant Land, "Captain America: Civil War" will be star-studded, with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. leading the way, along with Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson.
The news outlet also added that the movie will offer a strong lineup of heroes, featuring Sharon Carter, Winter Soldier, Ant Man, Falcon, Black Panther, and The Vision besides the already known heroes we have seen in the previous "Avenger" and "Captain America" franchises.
However, in a report by badtaste.it, it was revealed that Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, has been cut from the movie for a yet-unknown reason.
"The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don't want to reveal where is he and why. I don't even know if Hulk will be back soon," Ruffalo told badtaste.it.
"Captain America: Civil War," directed by the Russo brothers Anthony and Joe, will be a battle between team Captain America and team Iron Man, who lead their divided organization amid new legislation regulating superhuman operations, specifically the Avengers. The story happens after the catastrophic events in "Avengers: Age of Ultron"
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2016
