Miley Cyrus slams Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and what appears to be the rest of the girl "squad" from the "Bad Blood" music video.
A lot of Taylor Swift's fans were screaming for joy when their idol and the rest of her squad won the Video Of The Year Award for their music video for "Bad Blood." The singer brought her squad consisting of famous names like Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, Hailee Steinfeld and her BFF Selena Gomez. The girls posed together for the red carpet arrivals and even when Taylor accepted the award on stage, US magazine reported.
Taylor and the rest of her famous gal pals often hang out with each other either during their down time or as guests in her concerts. The singer is also close friends with actress Jamie King and Lena Dunham.
Although some fans are definitely enjoying their friendship, Miley Cyrus is not impressed. The "Wrecking Ball" singer who is also the host for the 2015 MTV VMAs said she is not interested in hanging out with famous friends and would prefer to have real people as friends. The former "Hannah Montana" star said she would rather be with real people who inspire her.
"I'm not trying to be in the squad," Cyrus explained in an interview with The New York Times. "None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I'm inspired by them."
Contrary to how the girl squad looks, Miley is still getting a lot of hateful comments about her ridiculous outfits on stage as well as her antics. But the singer said that nudity no longer bothers her.
"I put naked pictures on my Instagram - I don't care. It's not interesting anymore to see me like that," Miley said.
But Taylor is not just the only one who Miley slammed. There is an ongoing feud with Miley and the "Anaconda" singer. Nicki apparently was not happy when Miley described her as "not very nice" during an interview. This is why during her acceptance speech while receiving an award for "Anaconda," Minaj made a direct hit on Cyrus.
"And now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press, Miley, what's good?" Nicki said.
According to sources, Miley kept her cool during the surprise moment but stormed off the stage "cursing" after.
