Match day three of the 2015/16 Concacaf Champions League group stage sees three of Liga MX's four competing teams return to action and look to gain a stranglehold on their respective groups after each enjoying a strong start.
Saprissa vs Santos Laguna, Tuesday , August 25th , Estadio Ricardo Saprissa, San Juan de Tibas, 22:00
Santos Laguna visit Costa Rican's Saprissa in what could be one of the defining matches in Group A. Both sides comfortably defeated the group's other side W Connection in their first matches 4-0 and now look set to battle it out for the all important knockout stage place.
Given that both teams play in the final Group A fixture, this match could be a chance for either side to gain an advantage and avoid going into that game with the final position still in the balance.
Saprissa appear to have found some of their best form in recent games and in front of their home fans could prove to be a very difficult opponent for a Laguna side that have been inconsistent so far in the Apertura.

San Francisco vs Queretaro, Wednesday, August 16th, Estadio Maracana, Panama City, 20:00
Wednesday night sees Queretaro traveling to Panama to take on San Francisco looking to take the three points that could see them comfortably win the group.
Having already defeated San Francisco 2-0 at the Estadio Corregidora in the corresponding fixture on August 4th, a win could see Gallos Blancos sweep through their group and cruise into the knockout stages.
The Panamanians will have other ideas, however, as they look to continue their good form domestically and upset Queretaro. Whether they will be able to achieve the shock result or not remains to be seen, but if they are to have any hopes of qualification San Francisco will need the win and the match could be one of the most attacking of the group stage so far.

Herediano vs Tigres, Wednesday, August 16th, Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero, Heredia, 22:00
Finishing off the action of the Mexican sides involved in match day three are Tigres and Herediano. Tigres travel to Herediano looking to steal the first position of Group B from the Costa Ricans and increase their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages.
Tigres would normally go into the match as strong favorites, their all star lineup and recent return to form would normally be enough to overcome the weaker Herediano side.
However, with the news of their departing manager Ricardo Ferretti agreeing to manage the Mexican nations team it remains to be seen whether Tigres will be able to fully focus on this tricky away fixture.
Herediano will hope to cause an unlikely upset against Tigres and in front of their home fans, and will know that they will have few better opportunities to defeat the Copa Libertadores finalists and keep their knockout stage progression hopes alive.
