After Megan Fox officially filed a divorce from Brian Austin Green on Friday, the ex "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor was seen still wearing his wedding ring hours after the split-up, according to a report from E! Online.
The news outlet showed exclusive photos of Green’s post-divorce sighting at a gas station in Los Angeles. The 42-year-old actor looked casual with a white shirt, red sneakers, dark shorts and a pair of black sunglasses. According to E! Online, Green “appeared straight-faced and didn't show much emotion.”
As per Fox News, the 29-year-old “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actress filed for a divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause. Fox and Green were together for 11 years. They were married in June 2010. The couple will have legal custody for both of their sons: Noah, two, and Bodhi, one.
The report further noted that Fox and Green met on the set of the tv show, “Hope & Faith,” in 2004. However, their relationship did not go smoothly. In 2006, Green proposed to Fox, but the “Transformers” actress called off their engagement three years after. Green proposed again in 2010, and within 10 months, they got married in Hawaii.
A report from TMZ said that the couple didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married, which meant that their earnings during their marriage would be split into half.
The site also said that the divorce is “very amicable” because they are still residing in the same house.
Also, in an interview with ET Online, Megan talked about her sex life or lack thereof. "Brian doesn't get any intimacy whatsoever," said Fox during the premiere of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” in Los Angeles. The actress also stated that they didn't have much alone time between racing two kids and maintaining their careers.
As per a source from People, “Megan and Brian's split is a classic Hollywood story of two people in different stages of life and career.”
“Megan is young and hot and sought after for work, and she is eager to move ahead in her career. Brian wants more of her time than she can allow,” the source added.
The source claimed that the expectations of her husband and kids “overwhelmed” Fox. These expectations, according to the source, “got in the way of work responsibilities.”
TMZ reported that Fox and Green’s divorce was dated on June 15.
