Fans are in for horrifying and maybe sickening experience with the "American Horror Story: Hotel" if the two fresh teasers, first reported by Entertainment Weekly, are anything to go by.
The first new teaser, titled "Do Not Disturb," features a ghastly almost faceless guest inside a small hotel room. The man's eyes were shut close with their folds and eyelids fixed together. His lips were also sealed.
The second new teaser, titled "Beauty Rest," showed a couple in an intimate bed scene. The teaser, however, ended with the girl on top choking her bald partner. Looking closely at the video, the bald partner being choked appears to be a girl.
A teaser released in July, titled "American Horror Story: Front Desk," also showed a hand similar to the hand showed in the new teaser. The teaser released in July is reportedly a sneak peak of Lady Gaga's role in the series, Hollywood Life reported at the time.
Earlier this month, OUT magazine also revealed that Lady Gaga will play a bisexual in AHS season 5 as confirmed by the show's co-creator, Ryan Murphy, himself. She will have a love triangle with two of the show's characters: Ramona Royale, a sexy actress, to be played by Angela Bassett, and Donovan, to be played by Matt Bomer.
"[Gaga] will play a character who has relationships with Angela [Bassett] and Matt [Bomer]. She's playing the owner of the hotel. A wealthy social doyenne. She's consumed with art and fashion and people, and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode," Murphy was quoted as saying by OUT Magazine.
"In the first two days, she has a pretty spectacular murder scene with Matt Bomer," Murphy revealed more.
"American Horror Story: Hotel," which premieres on Oct. 7 on FX, will have its alum Mare Winningham back as the hotel's laundress, Entertainment Weekly said in a separate report. Winningham's character will be seen working closely with Mr. March to be played by Evan Peter according to the exclusive report.
AHS season 5 is said to be inspired by the mysterious disappearance of Elisa Lam. According to a related report from OUT, Murphy was inspired after watching a surveillance video of Lam inside the Cecil Hotel, more popularly known at present as the Stay On Main in Los Angeles. Lam was found dead inside a water tank at the rooftop of the hotel. CCTV footage of her inside an elevator revealed something eerie about how she behaved prior to her death (see video below). According to OUT, people believed that a paranormal activity was responsible for her death.
