The Birdman is in hot water. It looks like the #1 Stunna is going to get served some docs worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The founder of Cash Money Records reportedly owes the producer of Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter" albums tons of money for his work.
TMZ reports producer and hitmaker, DVLP is planning to sue Birdman for $200,000. The New York native has been producing tracks for the Lil Tunechi since Tha Carter II, with stand-out hits such as "Fireman," "Huztler Muzik," and "Hit 'Em Up."
The website got their hands on an elleged text message conversation between Develop and "Baby," to corroborate their claims. The 37-year old producer writes in February, "You sent me a bunch of messages last week about us talking and sending the money u owe but u never showed up."
He also goes on to highlight the recent mess between Baby and his "son" Lil Wayne, in which Weezy filed a suit against Birdman for $51 million dollars, accordin to TMZ. The label reportedly violated his contract by withholding his earnings from the "Tha Carter V."
"Man, I don't understand what ur doing but it seems every week I'm learning abt someone else that's real solid with you filing a legal action to get it right that ends up getting bad press."
To which the music mogul simple replies "Getting yu paid homey all THT s**t savit," "I'm getting yu paid," and "Afta yu get paid its whteva yu wanna do."
However, DVLP is not going to let him down that easy. He goes on to advise the CMB head honcho of his ill choice sand the legal action he will soon collide with. "I know you cal l yourself the#1 Stunna and u got ur own style to handlethings. I don't wanna tell u ur business, but un some ofthese situations I had a hook in that would've worked for u... I don't get it thought u were smarter than that."
Before adding, "I'm glad for your sake u got a plan to deal with all the s**t they're throwing at you. But you still ain't right with me... Universal isn't going to pay anything without a settlement agreement between us so tell your lawyer to get one with me. Don't be stupid... you're too smart to forget 200k."
Yikes! This does not look like it is going to end well. Maybe Baby should start to handle his business on paper rather than SMS.
