Talk about WWE star Dean Ambrose turning heel has been abuzz for quite some time now and the latest word about it is that the Lunatic Fringe will turn against pal Roman Reigns this coming Sunday at WWE SummerSlam which will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Ambrose will be the tag partner of Reigns against the duo of Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, a feud that has been so far emphasizing on ‘family’.

For those who have been watching past WWE shows, the emphasis is evident and actually something Reigns has been doing to somehow perk up his work behind the microphone. Thus far, it seems to be pointing towards something interesting and apparently that family cliché will take a serious turn if rumors hold true about Ambrose’s turn.

His turn to heel could be the push that the WWE plans for Ambrose. Right now, he is a sidekick and has so far been kept in the background. If he does indeed turn heel, it could mean that the feud between Reigns and Wyatt will be over. Instead, it will be a battle of former Shield partners and brothers who are bound to go separate ways.

So where does this leave the Sting appearance at WWE Night of Champions?

Though also a rumor, it was widely believed that the Stinger could end up reinforcing Reigns and Ambrose to make it a three-man tag match at the next PPV set for September 20.

On the other end, Erick Rowan could likely become the third Wyatt Family member though there are similar rumors possibly linking Bo Dallas (Bray Wyatt’s real life brother) and Adam Rose.

So this is where things may become a bit complicated. Which is which? An Ambrose turn or a Sting return at WWE Night of Champions?

With Sting reportedly out for WWE SummerSlam because the upcoming PPV already has a lot of stars in tow, seeing Ambrose turn heel does make a lot of sense. It does indeed seem to be the best time for him to do so and in turn help his buddy (in a way) improve more.

Bray Wyatt has done his part and perhaps Ambrose can pick up from that and build on his stature as well.

During their Shield days, Ambrose was seen more as the one who would likely turn heel. He is deemed as possibly the new Stone Cold Steve Austin but apparently it didn’t happen. Instead it was Seth Rollins who has been living the hype of the WWE’s best heel wrestler right though Ambrose could probably do better.

So enough said, will he or will he not turn heel at WWE SummerSlam?

WWE SummerSlam takes place this coming Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It will be aired live via the WWE Network starting at 7 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. PT.
