"Pretty Little Liars" fangirls and fanboys will have their knickers in a twist as the next season of the mystery-thriller American series is slated to air months away.
The end of the summer finale is still fresh leaving viewers with a 5-year time jump where Alison could be seen as a teacher at Rosewood High and uttering the words, "He is coming." The latest promo also revealed that Hanna is engaged. Third, Spencer is seen to be working as a campaign manager for her mother. Fourth, Aria and Ezra are also talking and looks to be in good terms. Lastly, while Emily is not happy with her education, she seems to be still friends with Toby.
Granted that it will be a slow and long wait for fans, four "giveaways" on the second part of season 6 have been revealed by multiple sources.
Alison as 'Mrs. Rollins'
Next season's preview revealed that Alison Di Laurentis introduced herself as Mrs. Rollins on the blackboard and appeared to be a Rosewood High teacher, Unreality TV reported.
Back in June, a spoiler chat on E Online gave us an exclusive scoop about ABC's plan to debut a new character on PLL - a handsome psychologist called Dr. Rollins.
The girls are not referring to CeCe when they warned Alison
Based on an interview between TVLINE and PLL producer Marlene King, King confirmed that the "He" the girls seemed to be afraid of and warned Alison about is not CeCe. "'He' is not Charlotte or CeCe or anyone related to that particular name. It's a different person the girls are coming to warn Alison about," King explained.
In a similar interview, on whether "He" will be the newest "A": "I can't confirm or deny if there's a new A,' but yes, 'He' is prospected to be the show's new baddie." King further noted in an interview with Pop Sugar: "Well, the girls have all sort of gone their separate ways over these five years, and although they're still friends, they don't see each other regularly. So there is an event - or a reason - they come back to Rosewood. Some new secrets and lies. A new mystery unfolds. And the results of that mystery unleash a new 'big bad.'"
Charlotte stays in Rosewood 5 years, moving forward
King, via TVLine, also confirmed that PLL fans will still see CeCe in 6B. "We will see Charlotte five years later. Alison stays behind to take care of her, and we'll see how far she's come when we make that time jump."
Expect two final twists in the last 30 episodes
The first of the two twists involves the murder of Mrs Di Laurentis, as told by King to TVLINE. She added that while the PLL team has enough story to tell until the 30th episode, she said that it's still up to the fans reception on whether they will continue beyond the 30th or not.
