Barcelona is the best team in Spain and continues to hold a solid eight point lead over rival Real Madrid. They will look to make sure that remains intact (or extends if Madrid loses or draws) when they take on  Real Zaragoza on Saturday.

Alexis Sanchez will not play due to injury, but his season has been poor to this point. He has only scored one goal for Barca in 2012-13, but it was a UCL goal against Benfica. In the Spanish league his contributions have amounted to two assists and some were questioning if it might be time for him to sit on the bench and let David Villa start more games. Villa has been hot of late for Barca with two goals in recent matches against Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano. However, Barca lives and dies by Lionel Messi and he has continued to play tremendous soccer for his team. He scored his historic 75th and 76th goals of the year in last week's encounter with Mallorca and now leads the league with 15 goals. All eyes will be on him as 2012 draws to a close. Can Messi score another ten goals and break Gerd Muller's Record of 85? This match could put him a few goals closer.

Real Zaragoza is in 11th place this season with five wins and six losses. They have won three matches at home and have scored 10 of their 14 goals there. Helder Postiga leads the way with six goals and is the main threat against Barca.

Prediction: Barca should sweep the floor with them in the same way Madrid did with them a few weeks ago. 3-0.

Start Time: 2 p.m. EST
