1. Be mentally prepared - Working from home can be stressful at times, especially if you have children, even more so, when you have a baby. 3. Prepare/Update your resume - When you feel in your heart that working at home is what you really want to do, it's time to think about your skills and create an amazing resume. Make sure it stands out above the rest. Highlight your competence and don't forget to discuss how you're going to manage your time effectively. If you've had a couple of published work, you can also create an online portfolio so your clients can easily gauge your level of expertise. Remember, salary offers are commensurate to skills.
