The cast of the television show "Grimm" attended the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 and revealed some interesting information about the show's upcoming Season 5. David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee were present at the Comic-con. The cast was joined by executive producers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt and Norberto Barba.
In Season 4 of the show, we saw how Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) transformed into a Hexenbeist which led to the death of Nick's (David Giuntoli) mother. Nick tried to avenge his mother, but being in love with Juliette presented a difficult choice. Trubel (Jaqueline Toboni) made the decision for him and placed two arrows to Juliette's chest and left her to die in Nick's arms.
Fans also learned of the trick that Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee) pulled on Nick when she disguised herself as Juliette. Adalind is now pregnant after making love with Nick, intent to steal his powers.
According to MNR daily, executive producer David Greenwalt revealed that Juliette is dead and Nick's love interest will not be coming back to life. He added that Nick will focus on his baby with Adelind for inspiration. Furthermore, Greenwalt told fans that Nick's mother will appear via flashbacks in Season 5.
On the same report, Giuntoli said that he is expected to share responsibilities with Adelind as a parent to their child. He also mentioned that Season 5 will feature a lot of vengeance. Lastly, Giuntoli revealed that he "loses" something else in the first episode of Season 5.
Bree Turner shared some revelations about Season 5, saying, "There's a whole new storyline and a new world about to happen, but then we also revisit Season 1 stuff, so I think the fans will be blown away, but also satisfied," according to Crossmap.
Sasha Roiz, via Crossmap, told fans: "Maybe it's time to get kind of get back to Season 1 where people had their own agendas, and often times that meant that we will come into conflict with one another."
To cap it off, Reggie Lee, who portrays Sergeant Wu, said that Nick will be in a tough situation with all that has happened in the last season. Lee said his character will be one of those who will help Nick with troubled times ahead.
According to Master Herald, "Grimm" has followed a formula that has gotten fans hooked since Season 1. The show should incurred some changes especially with emotional aspects, but only on special episodes. The report further suggested that the show should continue with what worked for Season 1 on the upcoming Season 5.
"Grimm" Season 5 will be on every Friday starting Oct. 30, 2015 only at NBC.
