"One Piece" Chapter 796 spoilers may have been revealed as the next arc is now starting to unfold. Are "One Piece" fans ready for Kaido the beast?
Here's a recap of the previous chapter based on the translation provided by Manga Stream before the possible "One Piece" Chapter 795 spoilers gets discussed.
The chapter starts with Admiral Fujitora gambling with Vice Admiral Maynard to determine if they should or should not go after Luffy and Law. The dice roll lands on one, which means that the Marines will not be chasing after the pirate alliance, much to the chagrin of Vice Admiral Maynard. During all of this, King Riku tells Rebecca that once he becomes king, she would become a princess of Dressrosa.
Meanwhile, Sanji's crew managed to escape the Big Mom Pirates as it was shown that they arrived on an island (presumably Zou) the following day, where they are looking for a girl. They are confronted by Kaido's men who are looking for a certain samurai, but Brook and Sanji managed to beat them with ease.
Finally, someone who was on a Sky Island tried to commit suicide by jumping off it. Urouge, prayed for the man as the man landed on the Kidd Pirates' hideout. This mysterious person turned out to be the Yonko, Kaido, who was just testing to see if the fall from a Sky Island would kill him. Kaido gets back up uninjured; as he exclaims that he is preparing to wage war and he is calling for Doflamingo to get ready.
Here are possible "One Piece" Chapter 796 spoilers as predicted by users on Reddit.
User PuddleOfMush speculated that Kaido has a mythological zoan devil fruit and that Kaido can turn into a dragon. He notes that Kaido's design greatly resembles a Japanese dragon, complete with a tendril-like mustache.
He offers more proof about Kaido being a dragon as he notes that:
1. It's said in this chapter that a person who attempts to fight Kaido would find themselves faced with "a Kaido". Quick Google search reveals that a "Kaidou" is a type of ancient Japanese road. Japanese dragons are known for being unbelievably long. Kaido as a dragon would probably be long enough that he basically would be "as long as a Kaido".
2. Dragons are known in their legends for being either one of two things: 1. Immortal; or 2. Mortal, but with incredibly hard and nearly-unpierceable skin that essentially makes them immortal unless you can find a chink in their armor. This pretty heavily draws parallels with Kaido, as well as gives him a potential weakness so he's not too OP.
3. How did the man manage to single-handedly get to a sky island in the first place? Yeah, he flew as a dragon.
Meanwhile, user QuercusMaster theorized that Kaido cannot die because he was granted immortality by a previous user of the Ope-Ope no Mi.
