Gisele Bundchen was allegedly spotted in Paris wearing a traditional Muslim burqa. The supermodel is rumored to have covered herself in burqa so she could disguise herself while she enters a plastic surgery clinic in France.
According to Fox News Latino, Gisele and her sister made a trip to Paris and covered themselves from head to toe with burqa. The two reportedly checked in Paris' International Clinique de Parc Monceau so that the model could secretly get some work done with her boobs and eyes.
A source said that the 35-year-old retired model was concerned that her boobs were sagging because of motherhood. The trip was as birthday present for herself.
The model's disguise was busted because of Bundchen's sandals. According to the report, Muslim women are not allowed to wear open-toe sandals underneath the burqa. Gisele and her twin sister were also seen being picked up by the model's trusted chauffeur at the Bristol Hotel and then brought to the clinic after. The model was spotted with the chauffeur before she put the burqa on and then after when she was covered up in disguise.
After the surgery, Gisele and her sister, Rafaela, were picked up and checked into the exclusive Les Sources de Caudalie spa to be able to rest and recover before they left Paris five days later. The sisters were seen roaming around the airport on their way back to the U.S. after their spa stay.
Page Six reported that the former Victoria's Secret Angel, who was able to make $47 million last year, paid about $11,000 for her surgeries. The model previously vowed that she will never undergo plastic surgery and announced her retirement last April, stating that she "learned to listen to her body."
"I don't see how to continue (modeling on the catwalk) ... and stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself," Bundchen said. "Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it's a privilege to be able to stop," Gisele states according to Channel News Asia.
According to Vogue UK, after Gisele's debut in the modeling industry back in 1996, she became one of the highest-paid models in the business. She eventually signed a $25 million deal with Victoria's Secret back in 2000 and since then has left her signature on catwalks all around the world. She eventually married with football star Tom Brady and gave birth to two kids.
