Rumor has it that Robert Pattinson's mother does not favor her son's bride-to-be, experimental pop singer FKA twigs.
Following a 3-year-long relationship with "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart, it may have been difficult for the Twi-Hard nation to see Pattinson happy with another, making it easier to speculate mom Clare Pattinson may hold some disdain towards FKA.
However, the British actor was spotted taking his mother to see the "Pendulum" crooner perform at an arts festival, which took place at the Old Granada Studios in Manchester. It is hard to believe mama Pattinson would disapprove her son's engagement after showing her support for the British singer alongside her son.
According to HollywoodLife.com, Pattinson's entire family is in love with twigs. "His sisters have never seen him happier. Both Lizzy and Victoria totally approve of FKA twigs because they know how dedicated and committed she is to their brother," a source revealed. "They love how easy going she is and how she really brings out the best in Rob."
The source also divulged how much the family prefers FKA over Kristen Stewart: "Lizzy has a strong connection with FKA twigs because they're both singers. What's impressive to Rob's sisters is that FKA twigs is interested in them and getting to know them. She's very engaging with them and Rob's parents, whereas Kristen was more reserved and closed off."
Meanwhile, the "Glass & Patron" singer reportedly sent Stewart a severe warning, saying that the "Still Alice" actress cannot talk about her ex-boyfriend in public.
According to OK! Magazine, twigs' warning was in response to Stewart describing the sex scenes between her and Pattinson in one of the "Twilight Saga" films. "She sent a message to Kristen to 'shut the f**k up' about Robert because she lost the right to speak about him in public the moment she got into that car with Rupert Sanders," a source dished. "It was pretty brutal."
Pattinson and Stewart split back in 2013 after the latter cheated with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.
