Dolph Ziggler Returning to WWE Earlier Than Expected? News & Rumors Here!

From the looks of it, the Showoff will be making his return in the WWE scene soon.

After seeing the WWE putting up advertisements Dolph Ziggler on WWE RAW, it looks like the slightly delayed feud involving him and Bulgarian Brute Rusev will now continue.

To recall, Ziggler and Rusev got into a storyline feud which started when Lana left Rusev due to the Russian’s continued blabbering that Lana was the reason behind his downfall. Lana apparently had enough and left Rusev though it didn’t take her long to find a new man in Ziggler.

At that time, Rusev was mending an injury, a broken foot, which he sustained at a live event. Though the injury forced Rusev to force a large chunk of the WWE scene, the Bulgarian Brute was still around in some segments which still involved Lana and Ziggler.

After finding a new partner in Summer Rae, the last confrontation between Ziggler and Rusev ended with the Russian revealing that he was up and about and inflicting damage on Ziggler last July 6.

And as everyone knows, such has kept Ziggler out of the WWE scene though the real reason is that Ziggler is busy filming for the WWE flick “6:42”.

To date, Rusev has been competing once again but there is no one in particular that he is going head on. There was that small portion involving him and Kevin Owens but it seems that Owens is trying to take on everyone right now.

As far as Ziggler vs. Rusev is concerned, do recall that it was a match that was widely rumoured to be among the cards for WWE SummerSlam which will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York on August 23.

With July about to end, Ziggler could make an appearance starting August 3, 2015 as the two build momentum heading into the next scheduled WWE pay-per-view.

There is also the question if the planned PPV match would be a singles match or something that would involved their handlers, Summer Rae and Lana.

Word about Lana wrestling in the WWE is of course nothing new, something that has been talked about before. If not for that injury she sustained when she was undergoing wrestling training back in 2013.

As it turned out, Lana was prohibited from taking bumps for health reasons. There is no word if Lana is already cleared to participate in such a punishing time in the WWE ring though she could end up entering the ring and let Ziggler and Rusev do all the rough antics
