Nick Jonas has set the record straight about his rumored romance with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The 22-year-old "Jealous" singer said that it was "nice to reconnect" to his former flame when they happen to bump in to each other a couple of weeks ago. Daily Mail reported that Nick arranged a group dinner together with the help of Selena after their meet up.
"We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice. We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other," said Jonas during an interview. "We met up, I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all hung out and had a great time. It was good to reconnect in that sense."
Furthermore according to Fox News Latino, when Nick, who is single like Selena, was asked if he would like to date the "Good For You" singer again he avoided the question and said it was just nice to be able to catch up and connect once again.
"We connect in that sense. It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll leave it there!" the singer said.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez just turned 23 last July 22 and posted a heartfelt message for all her fans to read. With a picture of her seated at a table wearing a red robe and a mini birthday cake on a plate, the singer expressed her gratitude to her supporters who have remained by her all these years.
Her best friend Taylor Swift also didn't miss her birthday. Even with the tour and recent Twitter feud with Nicki Minaj, TS sent a sweet birthday message to Selena.
"Happy 23rd Birthday, @selenagomez. I can't believe it's been 7 years since we met!! I love you so much, always," Taylor posted.
Surely all the birthday messages to Selena served as an upper. Some fans were surprised to know what their idol has given herself after she was asked to rate herself from one to 10 in terms of hotness.
"On a good day, I would say-like a premiere day-I would be a good nine. And then, on my every day, I feel like a six. Gosh, that sounds so bad! I feel like a six or a seven," the singer actress said.
