According to Apple, Connect will enable artists, signed or not, to interact with fans. They can upload photos and music and post lyrics; the music material will then link to social media and various websites.
The "10 Bands" rapper revealed that he is currently working on "Views from the 6," which will be premiered on Apple Music's latest feature.
"As I'm working tirelessly on this next album, this comes at the perfect time for me," he said. "Given the great success of my last mixtape that went directly to iTunes, I can't wait to incorporate Apple Music and especially Connect to what I'm doing next. I'm really excited about what I'm working on."
Connect will be available for $9.99 per month starting from June 30. Users will get their first three months for free.
