Mariah Carey Moving to Australia With Boyfriend? News & Rumors Here!

Mariah Carey is rumored to be leaving America to move in to Australia where her new billionaire boyfriend is.

According to Latin Post, Mariah has found new romance with boyfriend James Packer. It looks like the two are in a fast track as the diva is rumored to be seriously considering moving to Australia.

"Mariah wants to move Down Under. She's totally in love," a source said.

However, there are still things left to settle before she moves to "The Land Down Under." In a report by In Touch Weekly, soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon is highly opposing the idea of Mariah's relocation since it involves the twins he shares with her. A source said that Nick will not let Mariah get away with Morrocan and Monroe.

"He's always been worried about Mariah drinking around the children, and I'm sure he will use that to his advantage. There is no chance those kids will be leaving the country," a source said.

Goldie Schon, a family law expert and attorney said that the court would probably allow Mariah to move in another country but the risk will be leaving her kids behind under the custody of Nick.

"The court can say, 'You want to move to Australia, Mariah, have a good time.' But the children are now going to be primarily in the custody of Nick. That is what the court has the discretion to do. So, it's a risk," said Schon.

Another source claimed that if Mariah insists on taking the kids with her to Australia in the even the diva really moved there, Nick would be have reasons to reveal things that he always worried about that would likely put the singer under a bad light.

Other reports suggested the Packer, Mariah's new billionaire partner, has already popped the question to the singer. He allegedly promised to buy her "a large estate in on the island of Capri, Italy" once they tie the knot.

'He's planning on buying out a large section of Capri -- her favorite place in the world -- for a sky's-the-limit wedding,'' the source added.

The 45-year-old singer was recently photographed with Packer while they celebrated the Fourth of July in Las Vegas after they jetted back from his supersize yacht in the Mediterranean.

There are others rumors that the two went on a quick trip to Israel while on vacation for a "pre-engagement spiritual meeting" together with Packer's long time religious adviser.
