The Story of How A Minion Toy Saved A Girl's Life Here!

Minions have come a very long way from being a single-cell organism from the ocean that follows the most despicable creature to serve. Apart from breaking box office records, these little yellow banana looking bundle of random fun and adorableness are also making headlines nowadays!

According to Cinema Blend, a 5-year-old girl from Colorado Springs was playing in a bedroom when she fell from the three-story home. Specifically, the little girl fell backwards out the window and landed on the ground. Fortunately, she was holding Minion Bob's teddy bear, named Tim, which eventually cushioned her fall.

CBS News reported that the girl was rushed to the local hospital. She suffered a broken arm, which was treated immediately. The injury she acquired could have been a whole lot worse if it wasn't for the stuffed animal she was holding on to as she fell.

Since the release of the Minion's spin-off movie on June 11 in UK cinemas, there were a lot of negativity floating around concerning the adorable little sidekicks.

One very recent negative feedback came from McDonald's Happy Meal toy. Parents have made complaints to McDonalds about one of the toys that allegedly uttered certain curse words. Since this news came out, parents have voiced out their concerns on the Internet

McDonald's released a somewhat funny statement to the public about how the minions only speak nonsense made-up words that are not supposed to be offensive.

The statement goes: "Minions speak 'Minionese' which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds. Minionese' has no translation to, or meaning in any recognized language. Any perceived similarities to words used within the English language is purely coincidental."

On the lighter side, the "Minions" movie has utterly dominated the box office on its opening weekend. "Minions" has set the record as the second biggest weekend for an animated movie of all time. The first is "Shrek the Third," while "Toy Story 3" falls behind the "Minions" movie.

It could be recalled that these lovable characters started out as evil sidekicks for only the most despicable villain out there. The villain and lead character, Gru, might have melted our hearts in the first and second movies but the the Minions stole the show for both films. They garnered enough love and support that these little yellow pills with limbs even got their own movie.
