Good news for "Big Bang Theory" fans as new details about the upcoming season have been revealed as the showrunners have stated what can the fans expect on the "Big Bang Theory" Season 9.
With the "Big Bang Theory" Season 8 ending on a huge cliffhanger, fans have been expecting a lot of news from CBS as they desire to get information as to what will happen to Amy and Sheldon aka "ShAmy" in the next season of the show.
The "Big Bang Theory" Season 8 ended when Amy decided to break up with Sheldon as it was revealed that Sheldon was planning to give Amy a ring. Whether this means that Sheldon was planning to be engaged with Amy or not remains to be seen.
According to Janna Dela Cruz of Christian Today, viewers won't have to wait long to find out what Sheldon's plan is for that mystery ring.
It was noted on the report, however, that Mayim Bialik warned fans to not jump into any conclusions regarding the ring which may indicate that it may not be an engagement ring after all.
But fans shouldn't need to worry as the showrunners revealed that the purpose of the mystery ring would be unveiled soon.

"Big Bang Theory" Executive Producer Steve Molaro admitted during the San Diego Comic Con that the episode one of the season 9 of the "Big Bang Theory" will reveal what the ring is all about and what was Sheldon planning about it.
Meanwhile, Kazem Sedighzadeh of Master Herald has reported that the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 would be a bit more different compared to the other seasons as the episodes would be more intense.
According to the report by Master Herald, the episodes would be more tense due to fact that it is unknown as to what will happen to Sheldon and Amy and that it is also unknown as to what would be the fate of Penny and Leonard's engagement.
The report also notes that something big is coming up for Penny as it might be revealed that she's related to someone else on the show, but it wasn't revealed as to who is her mystery relative.
Could this mean that her last name would be revealed?
According to Sedighzadeh, there have been some reports that Penny's last name could be Barrington but while unconfirmed, this could be a plot point for an episode in the "Big Bang Theory" Season 9.
