Get hyped "Vikings" fans as the "Vikings" Season 4 trailer has just been dropped as a bunch of new details about the upcoming season has been unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con!

History's "Vikings" has been a hit among viewers and some are saying that it even rivals "Game of Thrones." While that is a different discussion altogether, fans should still get hyped for the show as new details about the upcoming season has been revealed during History's panel at the San Diego Comic Con.

As was recapped by Anthony Vieira of Screen Rant, the season 3 of "Vikings" reached its dramatic conclusion when Ragnar asks to be baptized before dying. After his coffin is escorted into Paris to be blessed in the Paris Cathedral, It was then revealed that Ragnar has faked his death as he kills the Archbishop and takes Princess Gisla hostage before letting his men raid the city. The last few moments of the season as features Emperor Charles offering lands and titles to Rollo while it was revealed that Ragnar knows Floki killed Athelstan.

Season 4 of "Vikings" promises that there would be a focus on the betrayals that happened throughout the previous season.

The trailer shows Queen Aslaug and Lagertha as their character development takes center stage as they become rulers in their own right.

In a report by Angelica Mei Dollesin of the Venture Capital Post, a bunch of new details for the "Vikings" Season 4 has been unveiled.

As was noted by the Venture Capital Post, the fourth season of "Vikings" would have a two year time jump as it attempts to show the rivalry between Rollo and Ragnar.

Bea Asuncion of Ecumenical News, reports that Travis Fimmel revealed some new details about his character in the fourth season of "Vikings".

"He's going to want to prove that this is what the gods meant and this is why he should be dancing naked on the sand. However, the conflict now is at a much higher level, it has different sorts of ramifications too," said Fimmel.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly caught up with Fimmel as he also divulged a couple of new information about his character to the publication.

"He's got very close to death. A lot of this year is his fascination with death. Like Odin, who hung himself to feel how it felt to be dead," said Fimmel.

"Vikings" Season 4 will air this 2016 on History.
