Sofia Vergara reveals plans about having kids with her "Magic Mike XXL" fiancé Joe Manganiello.
Although "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara is still on an ongoing battle with her ex about some frozen embryo, this isn't stopping the actress from wanting to start her own family. Sofia and Joe Manganiello are set to tie the knot later this year and the actress revealed that she doesn't want to be pregnant when she is 50.
According to an article by Mirror UK, Sofia explained that she is excited to start a family with Manganiello but set certain boundaries with regards to bearing his kids.
"Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids," Sofia said. "I tell him if we're going to [have kids], we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that Joe is excited to be a first time dad and admitted that he has always been open about the idea of being a father.
"I have always wanted to be a dad. I've always wanted kids. I've always been open about that," Joe mentioned.
Sofia already has a 22-year-old son from her first husband Joe Gonzalez who recently graduated from a university. Vergara and Manganiello got engaged December of last year but kept details about their future wedding a secret. However, it is believed that the good looking pair will hold their ceremony later this year at a "destination wedding venue."
The "Hot Pursuit" actress is currently facing embryo battle against his ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb. Sofia wanted to have the embryos they had while together destroyed while Nick strongly disagreed.
"I've been working very hard for 20 years to get to this point where I am, enjoying my movie. I promote all my movies, all my work, but I don't like promoting my private life and I don't understand why this person... I don't want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this," the 42 year-old actress said.
"I am having an amazing month with all these things that I get to do with my career and he's got nothing. I'm not sad," Sofia added.
Meanwhile Nick believes that he could "give these children a wonderful life." And in the end if he won the court battle he would be able to say that "their father" fought for them. However he also said that he would be as pleased if Sofia and her fiancé took the embryos but as long as he is "involved in the process."
