Demi Lovato Falls While Performing New Single ‘Cool For The Summer’ at Pool Party; Watch Video Here!

Demi Lovato took down a nasty fall while performing her latest single "Cool For Summer" at a pool party in Los Angeles over the weekend.

In a report by New York Daily News, the "Really Don't Care" singer took an embarrassing tumble on stage while performing her latest single "Cool For Summer." Demi held a pool party on Sunday just after the 4th of July celebrations to launch her latest single where fans and others in attendance were dipped in a pool in front of a mini stage.

In a clip that captured the incident, Demi was seen on stage while wearing a once piece swimsuit and some very high heels. Moments after, she took a painful fall after attempting to walk on the wet surface. Although it did look like it hurt, the singer managed to stand up immediately and took a big jump on the pool before her staff could help her.

The 22-year-old singer posted the video clip on Instagram and captioned "#NOTCoolForSummer #F-it." She made fun of herself and the whole accident by saying, "It's not a tour without busting a--."

Despite her recent accident, Demi's new single is managing well on the charts. According to Entertainment Online, after the former Disney star released her single on July 1, the track climbed in rankings thanks to its sexy summer beat.

"Take me down into your paradise/ Don't be scared cause I'm your body type. Just something that we wanna try cause you and I/ We're cool for the summer," Demi sings the chorus.

The star also responded to critics who were suggesting that her new single is a copycat of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" mixed with Jessie J's "Domino." The song was said to be about same sex relationships especially when she was rumored to have had a fling with "Orange Is The New Black" star Ruby Rose. The Australian DJ once revealed that she slept with the singer actress but Demi have not spoken about the issue ever since it broke out.

"With all the advances we've made in the LGBT community, I think more than one female artist can kiss a girl and like it," Demi said in defense.

On her Instagram account, she posted a picture of herself with young "Pitch Perfect 2" actress Hailee Steinfeld while boarding a private plane.

"Luuuurve this girl..@haileesteinfeld coming to support me cause she's a sweetheart like that!!" Demi put as caption.
