Dean Ambrose finds himself floating once again as he has been somehow eased out of the WWE title picture.

It will be recalled that Ambrose got a push from two WWE pay-per-views (WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE Money in the Bank) as he feuded with his former ally with Shield, Seth Rollins.

With Brock Lesnar back in the picture, Ambrose finds himself in supporting roles. Though he does show up on certain occasions against Rollins and the Authority, there is no defining point that leads many to believe that he will not be involved in any major storyline soon. In fact, he isn’t even on any of the cards for the next WWE Battleground PPV.

Ambrose has become one of the WWE favorites. Of the members of the now-defunct Shield, he is the only one who hasn’t been figuring that much in the main events of most WWE shows and specials. He now plays a supporting role, mostly with Roman Reigns who is in the middle of a feud storyline with Bray Wyatt.

At the current set of storylines, there is no indication on what the WWE plans for Ambrose moving forward.

His storyline with Seth Rollins is practically over with Lesnar back in the picture and rumors suggest that after WWE Battleground, Rollins will be caught in the middle of a feud with Triple H at WWE SummerSlam.

The United States title is out of the picture as well considering that John Cena and Kevin Owens is still going strong.

How about the WWE Intercontinental Championship currently held by Ryback?

For now, that storyline involves Ryback feuding with the Big Show with Randy Orton on the side. Though the density of that match seems to be not as deep with the others, it may be the closest break Ambrose could get if ever the WWE allows it.

As far as a storyline feud, there isn’t much to offer either. He could engage Sheamus in a feud though word has it that the Celtic Warrior will most likely cash in his briefcase at WWE SummerSlam.

The Money in the Bank briefcase could be an interesting storyline between Sheamus and Ambrose although such would not prove to be long-term with Sheamus most likely to win out in the end.

How about Ambrose stealing the briefcase similar to what he did with Seth Rollins WWE belt? That could work but perhaps for just a short-time.

It will be interesting to see if the WWE will take into account the headway that Ambrose has already accomplished. But with most stars tied up with different storylines, who could possibly tangle with the Lunatic Fringe?
