These are the things only 'workaholics' know too well.
1. Eight to 10 hours in the office seems really not enough.
You work overtime, almost every day. You'll know you consider your office your own turf if you have spare clothes in your drawer, a box that's full of chips and cookies for some easy grabs, and some personal hygiene kits.
2. Work is tattooed on your mind and you think about it anytime, anywhere.
You're most of the time stuck in your computer, smartphones, and gadgets - still doing some work.
3. A cup of coffee is the best office companion!
Most workaholics are coffee lovers. It's the only way to stay alive. Period.
4. An hour lunch break is never an option.
It's always a working break. You guys literally discuss business and office matters on the table. Now, may I first have a bite, please?
5. You have already mastered your multi-tasking skills.
But seriously, are you really a multi-tasker or you've got superpowers?! Being able to get all things done in one sitting!
6. Working on a holiday or a weekend has been your habit!
Your boss generally loves to see you living your newest 'peg', still working while on a vacation. But everyone in the household and in the circle literally hates it.
7. Mix and Match. You always choose to turn LEFT, RIGHT?
You eat comfort foods like chocolates, cakes, ice creams, and all the sweets you can get. You know why? Because STRESSED is DESSERTS when spelled or read backwards. Now, that explains!
8. The term "WORK-LIFE BALANCE" seems to be new to you, a total stranger!
Introducing... work-life balance. Remember this:
WORK hard but don't forget to LIVE.
Appreciate life's little blessings - your families and friends, take some time off to relax and reward yourself, and most of all, learn how to set your real priorities.
