'Family Feud' to Premiere New Celebrity Cast This Summer

"Family Feud" will start airing "Celebrity Family Feud" on June 21, 2015. The first episode will start Anthony Anderson of "Black-ish" fame and his family going against Grammy Award-winner Toni Braxton and her sisters.  

Ever since Steve Harvey became the host of the long running game show "Family Feud", the show has seen resurgence in popularity. In fact, before Harvey became the host of the show, many producers at the Game Show Network (the network where "Family Feud" currently airs on) were ready to finally cancel the show.

While not changing the game play of the show at all (the rules still are the same since the shows inception in 1976), Harvey claims that the main reason why the show is now such a success is that he understands what the people at home want to know. Harvey believes that this, in addition to his own personal flare is a formula for success.

Harvey tells FOX411, "If someone said an answer that was so ridiculous, I knew that the people at home behind the camera had to be going, 'What did they just say?' ... They gave this answer that doesn't have a shot in hell of being up there. The fact that I recognize that, that's comedic genius to me. I think that's [made] the difference."

One good example of this comedic genius is when a woman answered, his man parts, when asked what she would want to change the most about her husband. Harvey's immediate response was asking the husband, "How do you feel about that?"

Harvey goes onto say that it is pretty much impossible to control every guest that comes on the show and even harder to control what their answers are going to be.

"Contestants are only given 3 seconds to answer a question. The pressure is there and saying something ridiculous is often better than not giving an answer at all," he explains.

There have been times however that the ridiculous answers that the contestants give are actually on the answer board, causing an even funnier reaction from both Harvey and the crowd.

The celebrity edition of "Family Feud" is so far set for six episodes.
