With news about Kim Kardashian's second pregnancy, there are rumors that the reality star and her rapper husband will likely name their second child "South."
After Kim revealed her second pregnancy in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the news quickly trended on Twitter. According to a report from Time, since they named their first born "North," a lot of Twitter users suggested the name "South."
It was considered an online joke which was too interesting for the Internet to resist. Some users went as far as photoshopping the name "South West" in an airplane photo. However, the couple paid no attention to the rumor and humor mill. Life and Style magazine noted that those who wish that the couple name their other baby "South" will be disappointed.
A source claims that the reason the couple is skipping the suggested name is because it isn't strong enough. The reason they picked the name "North" was because it always points upwards.
"The couple says the main reason they'll bypass those three options is because they're not strong enough. With North, the name of their nearly 2-year-old daughter, there's a power element," the magazine stated.
Celebuzz gathered additional reports that the couple is leaning towards more traditional names, something that might be connected to the pair's late parents. Well there are still a couple of months left before they make up their mind. Kim is said to be due in December.
The pair has ample time to decide for their baby's name, but in the meantime Kim is busy making her husband feel loved up for his birthday celebrations, US Weekly reports. The 34-year-old reality star rented out Staples Center for Kanye's basketball-themed birthday party.
"Kim rented out the Staples Center so Kanye and his boys could play an NBA-style game with real refs and Laker girls! John Salley is the announcer. Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz are the coaches. John Legend sang the national anthem," a source revealed on E! Online.
But the surprises didn't stop there. Kim reportedly had a basketball built in their backyard. A source said that the rapper is obsessed with basketball.
"Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world! You are the most amazing husband & dad! You inspire me every single day! You make all of your dreams reality & it's fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH," Kim posted her birthday message for Kanye on Instagram.
