In the past reports about what will happen next in the Golden Globes nominated show, its head writer Jennie Synder Urman revealed that Jane will be getting her son back quickly after being kidnapped by Sin Rostro. But fans are kept guessing, will Jane lose her v-card in the second season?

In an article by Franchise Herald, the main writer of the CW show said that the kidnapping of Jane's baby boy Mateo will not be the "engine for the second season." With that statement alone, fans are assuming that maybe Jane will finally give in when the second season of the show returns this fall.

Although she already gave birth, Jane has kept her promise to remain a virgin until she gets married. Which leaves her with two options; she could marry Michael or Rafael. But with a new little man along the way, will Jane really have time for that?

However, showrunners Sydner and Silverman are both looking forward to that point where Jane finally loses her virginity. They even remarked that they have to think of a new title for the show if that happens.

"I can't wait till the show reaches that point. When it does, then we have a very intertextual vocabulary on our shows that will stamp on 'Jane The Virgin'. And then when she loses her virginity, you'll see a line go through the 'Virgin' and then that'll be the title," said Synder with Deadline.

Hollywood Reporter stated that Synder and the team purposely left the ending of season 1 a cliffhanger to leave the fans wanting more.

"We knew we just wanted to end it with something dramatic and something that gave a nod to its telenovela roots, and we felt that was a very telenovela turn of events. Also, we're going off the air from May till I think October, so you want something that the audience really, really wants to go back for and has stakes in," Synder said.

Whether she decides to go with Michael or Rafael or might even be a new character to be introduced in the second season, all remains a mystery so fans better watch out. As of for the meantime, the only sure thing is that "Jane the Virgin" will be back for its second season this coming fall.
